South Orange Village Center Alliance (SOVCA) is kicking off the 2nd Annual 24 hours of live music throughout the Village Center this weekend. Starting with a media event at the iconic gazebo on Sloan Street at Noon on Saturday, May 5th and running until Noon on May 6st, the live music marathon will feature blues, rock, R&B, jazz, pop, and more in venues both indoors and outdoors, from parks to restaurants to street corners.
This year 24 Hours of Live Music will be part of the Arts Unbound fundraiser, the Artbender weekend project designed to support artistic opportunities for people with disabilities. That’s right musicians will be creating music all 24 hours and hope you come on by, listen to some great music, and help us in a really great cause.
